Welcome to the new and improved Buffyverse Music Video Database, a searchable compendium of information about and links to online music videos based on the shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel.

The site is under new management, Sarah and Laura (thestalkycop and fractal_bat) have taken over from here's luck and bonibaru, and things have changed just a little. For the vid watchers, little will have changed for you, the vids are still easy to find, though you might want to read the FAQ when it comes to an advanced search. For vidders, things have changed a lot, and we suggest that you read all of the FAQs, for example, the "Romance" category has been removed, and split into three sub-categories: Romance: Het, Romance: Slash and Romance Unconventional.

Additionally, we have installed a forum, which we hope will be well used, as we are going to put up some tutorials there. Unfortunately you will have to register at the forum as well as here if you intend to post. There is no bridge between the vid database and the forum – if anyone is a genius at coding and would like to bridge them, please get in contact. Until then, we'll just have to do things the long way!

This site is not an archive; a complete vid archive would require far more server space and bandwidth than the creators of this site can possibly provide. Rather, the BMVD is a resource for finding online vids that are hosted elsewhere.

However, we do offer hosting now that the site has moved, so if you require webspace and unlimited bandwidth for hosting your vids (or simply just want a site with no banner ads), then have a look at our hosting Terms and Conditions.

Not all BtVS or AtS online videos out there will be linked to from this site; several vid creators have informed us that their sites can't handle any more traffic and that therefore they will not be entering their vids into the database. However, we do aim to be as complete as possible. So, if you're a vidder, we encourage you to add your online BtVS and AtS vids to the database!

Also, this site does not include a listing of the many excellent BtVS and AtS vids available only on tape or DVD. We hope that, if you're interested, you'll look into ordering such vids directly from the vidders. However, a catalogue of those vids is outside the province of this database.

If you're a vidwatcher, you can use this database to find vids using your favorite songs or featuring your favorite characters or pairings; the QuickSearch links in the second sidebar menu can get you started, or go to the complete QuickSearch listing.

More vids are being made all the time; to keep up, you can search for the most recent additions. Another option is to subscribe to the Nummy Treat mailing list, where notifications of new additions to the database will be sent if the vidder chooses.
